STEEPLECHASE

Opening of A. K. Molnár's Photo Exhibition in The
Győr-Moson-Sopron County Bv. Institute

Opening: May 22, 2017

The photo exhibition was opened by city historian László Bóka B. Subsequently, the prisoner and staff of the prison together saw the pictures as a group: picture to  picture, each participant (including the commander and the psychologist of the institute) read the poems on the photos and told their impression of the work. Some comments and additions were made by the inmates and the experts of the institute, and these speeches made that the nature of the program began to resemble a clubwork. In this mood, some feedbacks about the pictures and the exhibition itself confirmed the need for cultural programs in prison.

"Those what you see are photos and poems. The order is important because the focus is on the photos. If you have a serious decision behind an objective, then you will form an opinion about yourself and the world." Attila Molnár's photographs are documents of an interior journey where the pictures are imprints of a thinking man." László Bóka B.
